Vivi, as she prefers to be called, is a student in Global Development at the University of York, had the opportunity to take part in an international collaboration with students from the University of Ghana. Together, they researched the impacts of climate change on agricultural communities, met and worked alongside international charities, and visited significant historical and cultural sights in Ghana. Our support helped her engage in pivotal research surrounding decolonisation, developed international relationships and gained invaluable experience towards her intended career in global development.
We wish her well in her ambition to help people throughout the world overcome the problems of global warming, particularly in areas where crop farming failure is becoming a life threatening issue.
