Our mission to support the children's hospital in Bristol has stood the test of time in so much that we have invested £90 million in the hospital during our existence.
This has been used to support the following activities.
*Family accommodation: by providing an extensive portfolio of free accommodation for families whose child is being treated at the hospital
*Medical research: we invest in medical research programmes to ensure the hospital remains a hub of innovation, where everyday experts pave the way for sick children through a network of projects with international impact
*Equipment: we fund state-of-the-art equipment to save lives
*Music, play and art therapy: our programme can be seen in every ward of the hospital, helping young children to deal with the stressses and fears they may face during treatment
*Art enhancements: we work to make sure Bristol Childrens Hospital provides a fun, stimulating and comforting space for the brave children it cares for.
Our next project will see the development of a new Patient Hotel, the first of it's kind in the UK, for sick children which will be funded and operated by the Grand Appeal.
At the heart of our work are the incredible staff whose dedication, expertise and compassion provide vital care and hope to the region's s sickest children and tiniest fighters.
To date we have raised some £90 million thanks to all our supporters including Wallace and Grommit and many other numerous individuals and organisations.
With such enthusiastic representitives as Sophie their ambitions to continue raising funds is surely assured.
